ORACLE APPS DBA SUPPORT
Client Requirements: All clients must provide secure external access to their Oracle database
servers, either via dedicated dial-in or secure connections over the Internet.
The client must also possess a valid Oracle CSI number for access to Oracle
Technical Support. The client must have a test instance that is a faithful
representation of the production schema and statistics, and use their test
instance for the development and testing of all changes to the production Oracle
system. The client must agree to allow BC to pre-approve all production Oracle
database changes. This includes changes to the server environment including all
files and directories owned by the Oracle user and the Oracle crontab. For the
database, this includes changes to scheduled jobs, initialization parameters,
schema statistics, data files, tablespaces and SQL execution plans.

Multiple Database Discounts: Leverage your investment! BEI
offers discounts for clients who have substantially similar Oracle databases in
multiple environments. An example of this would be a Oracle database with
multiple copies in a test, development, QA and production environment. Shops
with multiple Oracle instances enjoy the following discounts over the
$1,400/Month per- instance price. Discount 2-5 15% Number of Instances 6-10 20%
10+ 25% Remote RAC Real Applications Clusters Support BEI offers expert support
for RAC systems, performed by our Oracle Certified Remote DBA staff. Pricing is
based on the number of clusters and the number of instances within each cluster.
Each cluster costs $1,400 per month, with a sliding scale cost depending on the
number of instances within each cluster. In a RAC environment all instances
(nodes) are monitored. The cost for monitoring is $1400/month for the first node
and $500 per node for additional RAC nodes. For example, if you have 4 nodes
within a single cluster; the price is $1,400 + (3 * $500) = $2,900/month for a 4
node cluster (this also includes 4 free hours of consulting per month). Also,
